Most projects launch within 3-6 weeks from the kickoff call. Refreshes are typically 1-3 weeks. Standard builds are 4-6 weeks depending on page count, content readiness, and revision rounds. We give you a clear timeline before any project starts.
Do I need to write the content myself?
No — content for your core pages (home, about, services, contact) is included in every build. We interview you about your business, then write conversion-focused copy in a voice that matches your brand. You approve everything before launch.
What platform do you build on?
We primarily build on Squarespace 7.1 for most small businesses — it's modern, fast, easy for you to update yourself, and SEO-friendly when configured properly. For more custom needs, we also build on WordPress. We'll recommend the right platform during discovery.
Will my website rank in Google?
Every site we build includes SEO foundation: proper structure, schema markup, fast loading, mobile-first design, and Google Search Console setup. That foundation means your site can rank — but ongoing SEO work is what drives the rankings. Pair the build with our Local SEO services and you're set up to win.
What about e-commerce?
For simple e-commerce (under 50 products), Squarespace works well and we include it in standard builds. For complex catalogs, custom checkout flows, or membership/subscription models, we'd recommend a custom Shopify or WooCommerce build — happy to scope that on the call.
Do you offer ongoing maintenance?
Yes — our optional maintenance retainer ($75-$150/month) covers security updates, backups, uptime monitoring, and minor content edits (1-2 hours/month). If you'd rather manage updates yourself, we'll show you how during launch.
